What's wrong with my torch?

The omega symbol stand for Ohm.

Ohms are used to measure resistance in a circuit.
If a globe is blown then the resistance will be infinite.

In other words, when a globe is blown no current can flow through
the globe. A multi-meter will shows infinite resistance by pointing to the infinitysymbol.
