TD702 Reflective report: Guidelines & Rubric

This is a report to be submitted following the presentation of your technology lesson.

Weight 20%

Due Monday 14 November, 2005

Guidelines:

The reflective report should:

contain a description of the topic / lesson ;

identify an appropriate CSF Level or VCE Unit for the topic / lesson chosen;

identify appropriate learning outcomes for the topic / lesson chosen;

include a copy of any worksheets or handouts provided during the lesson.

Report must also address 3 - 4 of the following subtopics:

why you chose the lesson topic;
how would you modify your delivery of the lesson a second time?;
how would you modify the teaching materials you provide for a repeat lesson?;
reflect any difficulty students had in completing the task or activity;
reflect on difficulties you had in developing the task or activity;
provide a list of resources to support teaching the topic;
comments or feedback from peers regarding the quality of the lesson.
(You may want to provide a short questionaire to be completed by your peers on completion of the lesson)

The report is to be the equivalent of 1500 words in length. Up to 2 images or screen shots can be used to illustrate each section. Each image or screen shot will count for and equivalent of 100 words towards the equivalent word count.

The report is to be published to the Web by 5:00pm, Monday 14 November, 2005.
